AVA International – Veterinary & Agricultural Education

Welcome to the Agrar- und Veterinär-Akademie (AVA), Germany.

Founded in 2001, AVA is an independent provider of continuing professional education for veterinarians, livestock farmers and agricultural advisers.

Our focus is on practical veterinary medicine, cattle and pig health, animal welfare, nutrition, disease prevention and modern herd health management.

AVA organises scientifically grounded conferences, intensive seminars and hands-on workshops in Germany and other European countries. We bring together veterinary practitioners, researchers and agricultural professionals to exchange knowledge, discuss current challenges and develop practical solutions for livestock production.

Our philosophy: Better animal health through prevention, sound management and veterinary expertise – reducing the need for veterinary medicines without ever withholding necessary treatment.

International participants and speakers are welcome.

We believe that progress in livestock health begins with cooperation between veterinary medicine, agricultural science and everyday farm practice.
